Flora of Hawai`i Poster

This poster features 16 native flowers that can be found in Hawai`i. The creation of this product is dear to my heart and one I'm proud of accomplishing.

I created this piece is to spread awareness of Hawai`i's plants. Contrary to all the bird illustrations I create, I'm a plant person. There are so many non-native "tropical" plants associated with Hawai`i such as monsteras, anthuriums, plumerias, and ginger but none of those are native! Hawai`i has such unique flowers that get little to no attention. Each flower has evolved specifically with native pollinators and Hawai`i's climate to be what they are today. With this poster, I hope to educate and share the beauty of Hawai`i's native flowers with everyone.

This poster is offered in two sizes: 16x20 inches and 11x14 inches.

The 16x20 poster is a giclee print on acid-free Archival Matte paper, 230 gsm. It has a smooth finish, on a bright white color paper, and gives off a slight glossiness. This medium-sized poster would be perfect for hanging with or without a frame, ideal for classroom settings.

The 11x14 poster is also a giclee print but printed on a Fine Art, 100% cotton, archival, 290 gsm paper. It is slightly textured and more of a warm-white color. The edges are also deckled making it perfect for hanging frames (you know, the frames that have edges on the top and bottom but not the sides?).

I will only offer these sizes on the specific paper but let me know if you absolutely want a custom size or have a preference of paper and we can work something out.
